As a student at h_da, you don't actually need your own car - there is the RMV-AStA semester ticket, which allows you to experience almost all of Hesse using local public transport, there is the bike rental system for short distances or excursions and if you need to transport something heavy needs to be done or a larger trip is coming up, there is the car sharing cooperation with Book-n-Drive.
