EUt+ Student Board

Since 2020, h_da is a founding member of the university alliance EUt+. The "European University of Technology" (EUt+) is one of about 50 university alliances in Europe and consists of 9 universities across Europe. It is one of the first technology-oriented European universities and aims to contribute to a further integration of education in Europe. Cooperation between the partners is being strengthened and intensified at all levels, especially in the areas of teaching, research and student mobility. For us students, this means a wide range of exchange opportunities between the 9 campuses, easier recognition of academic achievements and, in the future, joint European degrees.

Student involvement is a key part of EUt+!

This is put into practice with a Student Board and a Student Pool, where motivated students from all 9 universities can get involved and help shape a new type of university at European level.

What is it about?

It has set itself the goal of being one of the first technology-oriented European universities to contribute to the further integration of Europe. Collaboration between partners at all levels is being strengthened and intensified, particularly in the areas of teaching, research and student mobility. For us students this means: diverse exchange opportunities between the 9 campuses, easier recognition of academic achievements and joint European qualifications in the future.

Student participation is also considered very important.

This is implemented in a Student Board and a Student Pool, in which motivated students from all 9 universities can get involved and thus help shape a new type of university at the European level.

Representation of the h_da student body on the EUt+ Student Board

Heads: Elias Wenz, Tilmann Eckert

This unit must consist of at least two persons (double staffing, preferably gender parity), because the statutes of the EUt+ Student Board stipulate that there must be at least 2 student representatives per Alliance member.

Core tasks:

  • Mandatory active participation in the EUt+ Student Board (student body in our alliance)
  • Regular reporting and committed participation in various meetings (Student Board Meeting, Physical Meetings, JourFix, etc.)
  • Nationwide and Europe-wide networking on the topic of European University
  • Initiatives/European University Alliances
